Job summary

Cloudwick, an AWS-certified data lake and analytics partner, seeks a Senior QA Engineer (8–12 years) to own end-to-end quality across our cloud platforms. You will drive load, performance, and automation strategies, architect UI and API tests, and work with multi-tenant AWS environments.

In this role you will integrate Claude, Agentic AI workflows, and autonomous testing to accelerate release quality while ensuring data integrity and system resiliency at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, Automation, and Performance Testing.
• Demonstrated mastery in load and performance tooling with tuning and capacity planning for large-scale apps.
• Proficiency in Java or Python with modern frameworks for UI/API automation.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptionally qualified Senior QA Engineer (8–12 Years Experience) to take full ownership of the end-to-end quality, performance, and reliability of our enterprise cloud platforms.

In this role, you will lead the quality strategy across the entire product ecosystem. You will drive high-scale Load, Performance, and Scalability testing, architect UI and API automation solutions across modern tools and frameworks, and navigate complex application dependencies in multi-tenant cloud environments (AWS). Additionally, you will pioneer the adoption of Claude, Agentic AI, and autonomous workflows to solve real-time, complex testing challenges and accelerate quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Product-Wide Quality Ownership: Define, execute, and own the holistic QA and test automation strategy across all application tiers, handling complex application architectures with heavy cross-system dependencies.
• Load, Scale & Performance Engineering: Architect and execute comprehensive performance, stress, volume, and endurance testing suites to ensure product resilience under enterprise-scale traffic and workloads.
• Multi-Framework UI & API Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust automation frameworks across various UI (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and API (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC) testing tools.
• Agentic AI & Claude Integration: Leverage Claude, custom Agentic AI solutions, and autonomous workflows to auto-generate edge-case scenarios, diagnose root-cause failures, self-heal test suites, and solve complex production testing bottlenecks in real time.
• AWS Cloud-Native Testing: Leverage deep AWS cloud knowledge (Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, ECS/EKS) to conduct cloud-native testing, monitor system metrics, and validate microservice resilience.
• CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Integrate performance and functional automation suites seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins) for continuously gatekeeping release quality.
• Data Integrity & Complex Validation: Perform deep-dive database validations (SQL/NoSQL) and complex message parsing (JSON/XML) to ensure high-grade data accuracy and consistency across distributed cloud systems.

Requirements

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, Automation, and Performance Testing.
• Performance Engineering: Demonstrated mastery in load and performance tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, K6, Gatling) with a track record of tuning, bottleneck identification, and capacity planning for large-scale applications.
• UI & API Automation Expertise: Proficiency in languages such as Java or Python, with extensive experience in modern frameworks (RestAssured, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI).
• Cloud Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience testing and monitoring microservices deployed on AWS.
• Agentic AI & Claude AI Workflows: Hands-on experience integrating Claude and Generative AI/Agentic models into testing pipelines for intelligent test creation, prompt-driven automation, real-time log triage, and self-healing test scripts.
• System Architecture & Dependencies: Exceptional ability to map, mock, and test complex systems with interwoven dependencies, microservices, and asynchronous event-driven architectures.
• Tools & Ecosystem: Mastery of Git, Maven/Gradle, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
