Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking an Automation Engineer with strong skills in Selenium and automation testing. The candidate should have experience in developing automation frameworks, executing tests, and knowledge of Agile methodologies. Good communication and analytical skills are essential. Experience in the HCM domain is a plus.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in any automation tool preferably Selenium
• Should be able to develop/enhance automation framework and scripts
• Log issues in accordance with issue management process in defect management tools
• Participate in release management process to ensure quality in each release
• Understanding of CICD process and Jenkins integrations is an added advantage
• Clearly understand business requirements and identify use cases that can be leveraged to write functional and persona-based test cases.
• Ability to design, write and execute automated tests
• Good technical skills and strong in any scripting language.
• Strong experience in writing test strategy, test plans, test cases and reporting defects
• Good understanding of various testing methodologies and agile methodologies
• Good communication skills, thought process & Analytical skills
• Good knowledge of database and ability to write scripts to retrieve data
• Should exhibit good functional/domain understanding of the current project
• Any POCs on automation, work experience in macros and HCM domain knowledge are added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Human Capital Management, Business Process Management or Enterprise resource management tools
• Knowledge of Selenium and Cucumber
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Experience in automation testing specifically in BDD or TDD methodologies
• Experience coordinating various technical groups for dependency and roadmap alignment
• Ability to maintain focus while rapidly developing proficiency in new skills
• Experience in startup or high growth technology environments
