Job summary

Luxoft in Chennai is seeking a Senior Python Tester for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance. You will design test strategies, coordinate with onshore & offshore teams, and execute data-driven testing using PySpark and Python.

You should have 5 to 9 years of experience in data driven testing, strong banking domain knowledge, and proficiency in CI/CD processes. Familiarity with PyTest, Selenium, and web application testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 9 years of experience in data driven testing in Python
• Mandatory experience in Banking /Capital Markets Projects
• Strong understanding of web application testing and associated technologies.
• Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and design
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes

We need a Senior PythonTester to work for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance Project

Responsibilities:

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
• Should co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teams
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function

Mandatory Skills:

• PySpark

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Must have intermediate level of experience in any one of below (mandatory):
• - Equities and Fix Income/Commodities / FX Options
• Good experience on PyTest and Test Automation
• Good experience in Selenium
