Progix Technologies LLP in India is seeking an experienced Senior Python / Django Developer to build and scale high‑performance web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and robust database architectures for enterprise clients.

You will architect backend systems with Python and Django, design PostgreSQL/MySQL schemas, and integrate Celery/Redis, and other services, while coordinating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Formación

• 3+ years of commercial backend development with Python and Django.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM optimizations.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with JWT authentication and asynchronous tasks.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python / Django Developer to build and scale high-performance web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and database architectures for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python and Django / Django REST Framework.
• Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL / MySQL for high availability and low query latency.
• Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay), and messaging queues (Celery, Redis).
• Implement automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain exceptional code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver world-class client deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of commercial backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM optimization.
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, JWT authentication, and asynchronous tasks with Celery/Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Linux server environments, and Git workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, architectural mindset, and clear communication.
