Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Python Developer to work onsite in India. You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications with scalable backend services and AI-powered capabilities. Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to deliver secure, high-performing software solutions deployed in GCP and/or Azure.

You will design REST APIs, work with React or Svelte for frontend interactions, and participate in code reviews to uphold best practices.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in backend development with Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend services.
• Proficient with cloud platforms like GCP or Azure; familiar with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLMs and API-based integrations; Terraform for IAC.

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Python Developer to work onsite for one of our clients in India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications with a focus on scalable backend services, intuitive user interfaces, and AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python-based backend development, modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud technologies, and API-driven architectures. This role will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to deliver innovative software solutions that are secure, high-performing, and scalable. In addition, this role will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing applications in cloud environments, primarily within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure. Lastly, this role will actively participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Skills and Requirements

• 9+ years of experience developing and maintaining backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
• Experience building responsive UI using React or Svelte
• Experience designing REST API's
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Has worked with cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred) or Azure
• Familiar with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands on experience with AI/LLM's and API based integrations
• Experience with MCP or agentic workflows
• IAC experience (Terraform)
