Job summary

Selective Global Search in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and backend services.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python fundamentals, experience with testing, deployment, and production support, and will collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and engineering teams.

At least 6–8 years of hands-on Python development, plus knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, and CI/CD, are expected.

• Work with file handling, JSON, data structures, algorithms, CLI utilities, and data processing.
• Apply OOP, decorators, generators, iterators, context managers, and exception handling effectively.
• Develop solutions using multithreading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming where required.
• Write unit/integration tests and maintain code quality and coverage.
• Debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support production deployments.
