Job summary

Infosys Bengaluru is seeking a Python Senior Developer to own and deliver domain-centric maintenance and production support for PLM workflows. You will apply OpenSystem knowledge to build robust solutions.

The role emphasizes design best practices, OO concepts, testing automation, and effective communication with remote teams. You will guide project efforts and contribute to thought leadership within Infosys.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiar with various design, architectural patterns and software development process.
• Experience with both external and embedded databases.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with remote teams effectively.
• High flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Infosys project management team, your primary role would be to take end-to-end bottom line responsibility for a Project.
• You will lead the proposal preparation, review the project estimations, capture inputs from key stakeholders to position Infosys suitably in order to seal the deal.
• You will schedule assignments, monitor, review and report project status regularly to manage project risks and ensure successful delivery and implementation.
• You will coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for your focus areas, and recognize high performance.
• You would be a key contributor in creating thought leadership within technology specialization while complying with Infosys guidelines.
