Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking a senior project controls professional in India to lead planning, cost control, budgeting, and reporting for infrastructure projects. You will develop budgets, monitor variances, and prepare ACE/JCR reports to protect project profitability.

Key responsibilities include scheduling, cost framework development, vendor management, and driving digital initiatives across projects, with a focus on timely, accurate MIS updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or related field.
• M.Tech with PG in Project Management and ≥10 years’ experience.
• Experience in project cost control, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Project Planning & Cost Control.
• Prepare ACE / JCR and maintain project bottom line.
• Develop Project Budget & Cost framework; monitor ongoing.
• Monitor progress, variance analysis, and schedule.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and stakeholder updates.
• Manage sub-contractors and vendor approvals within ACE.
• Lead digital initiatives and present progress to management.

• Responsible for Project Planning & Project cost control
• Preparation of ACE (Accepted Cost Estimate) / JCR (Job Cost Report) and responsible for maintaining the bottom line of project
• Developed the Project Budget & Cost framework & continuous monitoring of same
• Responsible for Project monitoring & Variance analysis
• Review of Project Schedule and monitoring of same.
• Responsible for Cost control initiatives, identification of cost saving areas.
• Planning & arranging resources as per the project schedule, productivity monitoring & optimization
• Review and approval and finalization of Sub contractors/Vendors within ACE limits
• Responsible for preparation of progress related presentations to management.
• Preparation and submission of monthly MIS reports like FDS, Monthly project reviews, cash flow, Working capital
• Preparation of weekly, monthly progress report for all stake holders of project.
• Responsible for raising variation claims, extended stay claims, etc. to client
• Responsible for stake holder management
• Digital Champion and responsible for project digital initiatives
• Preparation and Review of Profit and Loss Statement on monthly basis.

Qualifications

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or any other discipline,M- Tech with PG in project management with min. 10 of experience.
