Qualifications

• Proven experience (10+ years) in project management roles and working with Agile methodologies in the financial services or technology sector.
• Project management and Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, PRINCE2).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Previous exposure to and understanding of the index value chain and ecosystem as well as market data and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate key stakeholders including vendors and service providers where involved.
• Manage dependencies and drive decision-making where plans depend on decisions.
• Coordinate allocation of resources, both human and technical, to execute migration tasks.
• Gather and track project budgets, monitor expenses and control costs.
• Identify and manage potential risks and issues related to the migration.
• Prepare and distribute regular project status reports; maintain project documentation.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic Index team. The Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning, execution, and delivering various initiatives on the Index Roadmap on time and within scope, aligning with the company's overall product roadmap and strategic objectives. Key relationships & committees : Technical Product Management, Index Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Index, Index and Data Operations Responsibilities: You manage dependencies and drive DecisionMaking where a plan is dependent on decisions not yet taken. You help cement best practice for change execution, including supporting the Index teams to continue moving from waterfall to agile for some of the change portfolio and support junior Index PM resources across locations as sounding board. As project manager for the STOXX business unit, you focus on planning, execution and successful closing increments of prioritized initiatives on the Index Roadmap assigned to you, producing adequate documentation and taking accountability for successful delivery. This includes predominantly the following activities:

Stakeholder Management

Identify and coordinate key stakeholders including vendors and service providers where involved. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to achieve results, manage expectations and provide project updates.

Resource Allocation

Gather and coordinate allocation of resources, both human and technical, to execute migration tasks.

Budget Management

Gather and coordinate preparation and tracking of project budget, monitor expenses and control costs throughout the project.

Risk Management

Gather and coordinate potential risks and issues related to the migration.

Quality Assurance/Project Status reports

Share reporting around the adherence of migration is executed with agreed quality, timelines and adherence to industry best practices. Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation of configurations and changes through an Agile supporting tool chain. Generate and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.

The role will be responsible guiding the creation of capabilities to enable the ISS STOXX index business to meet its business plan.

Qualification

• Proven experience (10+ years) in project management roles and working with Agile methodologies in the financial services or technology sector
• Project management and Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, PRINCE2)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Previous exposure to and understanding of the index value chain and ecosystem as well as market data and analytics solutions
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
