Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in India is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end corporate interior fit-out projects. You will own delivery, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets across occupied environments.

The role emphasizes client engagement, governance, and executive reporting, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, risk control, and compliant handovers. Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years’ experience delivering corporate interior fit-outs in live/occupied environments.
  • Degree in Civil/Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical (or equivalent); PMP/Prince2 preferred; strong proficiency with MS Project/Primavera and cost control tools.
  • Experience in contracts administration, change/claims management, VE, and stakeholder management across client, landlord, designers, and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of local codes, authority processes, and landlord standards for corporate interiors; ability to drive approvals and compliance documentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; structured reporting and executive presentation ability in fast-paced, multi-site delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own project delivery from initiation to close-out—charter, budget, master schedule, procurement strategy, construction oversight, testing & commissioning, handover, and defects management.
  • Lead client engagement: capture requirements, set success criteria, run governance forums, and provide executive-level reporting (cost to complete, cashflow, EAC, progress KPIs) in line with PDS standards.
  • Direct multi-party teams (design consultants, QS/Cost, MEP, GC/subcontractors, landlord/authority interfaces); chair weekly site and coordination meetings; drive decisions.
  • Control cost & schedule: baselines, forecasts, value engineering, variations, and claims; ensure commercial alignment to contract conditions and timely certifications with QS support.
  • Assure quality & EHS: enforce QA/QC, method statements, and Cushman & Wakefield EHS requirements; maintain incident-free sites and compliant handovers.

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) builds trusted client relationships, orchestrates consultants and contractors, and enforces C&W governance, reporting, and commercial controls throughout the project lifecycle.
