Job summary

Quanticate in India is seeking an experienced SAS programmer to take ownership of clinical data programming for global trials. You will work with SDTM, ADaM, and CDISC standards, producing high-quality datasets and outputs while mentoring junior programmers.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setup, with opportunities to lead study-level programming activities and grow your technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimally qualified to BSc level in statistics or math with strong statistics content.
  • Preferably MSc level in statistics or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in pharma/medical sector.
  • Understanding of statistics as applied to clinical trials.
  • Competency in SAS to program datasets and TLFs.
  • Excellent knowledge of CDISC standards.

Responsibilities

  • Use SAS to produce and validate high-quality datasets and outputs (SDTM/ADaM).
  • Lead and mentor junior programmers, reviewing work and building confidence.
  • Contribute to study-level programming activities and potential lead responsibilities.
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners in a hybrid setup.
  • Spend time in the office as needed to support the team.

Are you an experienced statistical programmer looking to take the next step in your career? We’re expanding our team in India and are seeking skilled SAS programmers who are confident working with clinical trial data and CDISC standards.

What You’ll Do:


  • Use your SAS programming expertise to produce and validate high-quality datasets and outputs, working with SDTM, ADaM, and tools such as Pinnacle21.

  • Take responsibility by staying alert to issues, communicating early, and helping keep projects moving smoothly.

  • Provide guidance to junior programmers, offering day-to-day support, reviewing work, and helping them build confidence and independence.

  • Contribute to study-level programming activities, with the opportunity to take on lead responsibilities where appropriate.

  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners and collaborate effectively in a hybrid setup, spending time in the office as needed to support team members.

  • Minimally qualified to BSc level in either Statistics or a Mathematics based degree with a high proportion of statistics content.


  • Preferably qualified to MSc level in Statistics or equivalent.


  • Have relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical sector.


  • Understand the principles of statistics and how they pertain to clinical trials.


  • To have competency in SAS in order to program datasets and TLFs.


  • To have excellent knowledge of CDISC standards.
