Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Professional Services Consultant to lead technical engagements for enterprise customers from discovery to deployment. This hybrid Mohali role requires deep experience architecting, deploying, and optimizing Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange solutions in complex environments.

You will guide secure identity frameworks, AI-enabled security workflows, and collaborate with sales and engineering to accelerate customer value while maintaining strong governance and security

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles
• Hands-on experience deploying Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) across large enterprise environments
• Strong command of identity and access frameworks (SAML, SSO/IdP, MFA, CA, ZTNA)
• Networking and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, proxies, firewalls)
• AI/ML security concepts (shadow AI risk, DLP in AI workloads, securing LLM/API workloads)

Role

We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is a Hybrid, Mohali role , reporting to the Manager, Professional Services. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical authority for our enterprise customers — architecting, deploying, and optimizing solutions across the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform. As organizations navigate AI-accelerated threats, cloud-first transformation, and increasingly complex hybrid environments, you will be the expert who turns that complexity into clarity. You bring deep technical depth, a strategic consulting mindset, and the ability to engage equally well with hands‑on engineering teams and senior business stakeholders — delivering outcomes that are secure, scalable, and built to last.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Own the full technical engagement lifecycle for enterprise customers — from discovery and solution design through deployment, adoption, and continuous optimization
• Architect and integrate ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and the broader Zero Trust Exchange across complex, multi-cloud and hybrid enterprise environments including AI-driven workload scenarios
• Lead Zero Trust maturity assessments, technical discovery workshops, and migration planning sessions with customer and partner stakeholders at all levels
• Guide customers on securing modern identity frameworks, SaaS ecosystems, and AI-powered workflows — translating evolving threat landscapes into actionable, platform-led security outcomes
• Partner with sales, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact consultancy and deployment services that accelerate customer time-to-value

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 8+ years of experience in customer‑facing technical roles — Professional Services, Security or Network Consulting, Technical Account Management, Escalation Engineering, or SOC operations
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating Zscaler solutions — ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX — across large‑scale, complex enterprise environments
• Strong command of modern identity and access frameworks — SAML, SSO/IdP integrations, MFA, conditional access, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles
• Solid foundation across networking and security fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, PAC files, GRE/IPSec tunnels, proxies, and next‑generation firewalls
• Working knowledge of AI/ML security concepts — including shadow AI risk, data loss prevention in AI‑powered environments, and securing LLM and API‑driven workloads

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Hands‑on experience securing cloud‑native architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP — including AI/ML pipelines — with practical exposure to SASE, SSE, and converged security frameworks
• Understanding of AI governance, data security posture management (DSPM), and the security implications of enterprise GenAI adoption
• Industry certifications: ZDTA / ZDTE, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent cloud and security credentials
