BlackLine is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive intercompany product strategy across creation, matching, settlement, eliminations, and compliance in an AI-powered, agentic environment. You will partner with Engineering, Design, and GTM to translate customer insights into a prioritized roadmap and lead delivery timelines across teams.
You’ll bring 5–8 years of PM experience, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with AI tools and enterprise SaaS platforms.
Make Your Mark: We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive our intercompany product strategy across agentic financial operations, from creation, matching, and settlement to eliminations and the compliance landscape around them. You'll partner with Engineering, Design, and GTM to execute the roadmap, contribute to our agent‑first approach, and work directly with customers to turn feedback into product decisions. Ideal for a PM with 5–8 years of experience looking to build deep intercompany and agentic AI expertise. You'll Get To:
Own the roadmap for a defined slice of intercompany within agentic financial operations; Creation, matching, netting and settlement, eliminations, and the transfer‑pricing/compliance context around them. Translate customer and market insight into prioritized roadmap input that supports the shift from period‑end reconciliation to an intercompany‑led close.
Contribute to the agent‑first direction for intercompany predictive risk scoring, and the confidence thresholds and human‑in‑the‑loop controls that govern when a person steps in. Build responsible‑AI guardrails (attributable, bounded, auditable agent actions) into the workflows you own.
Lead execution for your product area in partnership with Engineering, Design, and GTM. Own delivery timelines and dependencies within that area, and flag risks early.
Define success criteria for the initiatives you own. Bring data‑driven inputs — business cases, ROI analysis, quarterly planning input — into prioritization conversations with staff/director‑level PMs.
Engage intercompany design partners and early‑access customers directly; convert feedback into roadmap decisions and proof points for rollout.
Identify and drive process improvements within your product area.
Leadership & influence 5–8 years in product management or a related role, with a track record of owning initiatives end‑to‑end and delivering measurable outcomes (adoption, retention, revenue). Works independently with minimal oversight; comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders and customers. Ready to lead small initiatives independently; may mentor junior team members or interns.
AI/ML & agentic products Experience contributing to AI/ML‑or data‑powered features in production — ideally agentic, automation, matching, or intelligent‑workflow products. Working knowledge of modern AI — LLMs, agents, confidence scoring, human‑in‑the‑loop design, model evaluation, and responsible AI — sufficient to contribute soundly to trade‑off decisions. Proficiency with product management and AI tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Claude, Gemini, Figma, Pendo) across the development lifecycle.
Domain depth Solid understanding of enterprise SaaS and the R2R close process — how intercompany connects to reconciliations, journals, matching, consolidation, and control/task management. Familiarity with the ERP landscape (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite) and sub‑ledger vs. GL structures. Working understanding of intercompany accounting and operations — transaction matching, netting and settlement, eliminations, transfer pricing reshaping the space. Exposure to the intercompany competitive/partner landscape (consolidation/CPM tools, ERP‑native matching, AI‑native entrants) is a plus.
Solid analytical and strategic thinking: connects your initiatives to business objectives and uses data to prioritize effectively. Strong communication and presentation skills, tailored to engineers, stakeholders, and customers. Calm and resourceful under pressure in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience; exposure to accounting or finance is an advantage.
