Job summary

IFF, based in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an experienced Cash Application specialist for a hybrid role within Global Business Services. You will manage daily cash application, reconcile feeds in SAP, and coordinate with AP/GL teams to resolve customer queries.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in cash application, is proficient in SAP and Excel, and demonstrates strong English communication and compliance discipline. Hybrid work model with standard SOP updates and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–6 years of experience in Cash Application processes.
• Proficiency in SAP and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and email applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Flexible with work responsibilities and adaptable to changing schedules.
• Knowledge of month-end activities with the ability to proactively identify and address issues.
• Strong adherence to compliance standards and internal controls.
• Ability to initiate and contribute to process improvement ideas.
• Collaborative mindset with capability to work effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Download bank statements from the bank portal and ensure timely reconciliation of feeds received in SAP.
• Perform daily cash application based on remittances and research on-account items for accurate allocation.
• Maintain and clear suspense accounts while updating comments for open items in Blackline related to customer accounts.
• Process small balance write-offs and handle refund requests for duplicate, over, or incorrect customer payments.
• Collaborate with AP, GL, and onshore teams to resolve customer queries and ensure smooth operations.
