Job summary

Goodhomz Interiors in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee day-to-day execution of interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, BOQs, specs, and schedules.

You will lead planning, site inspections, coordination with contractors and design teams, monitor costs, progress, and quality, and deliver projects on time with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in architecture or civil/construction disciplines with relevant interior fit-out focus.
• Experience with turnkey execution, PMC, project management or site management is required.
• Excellent knowledge of project planning, scheduling, BOQs, measurements, billing, quantity verification and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day project execution and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
• Plan and monitor project timelines, milestones and critical activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality across civil, interior, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing and MEP works.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, consultants and site teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs and technical specifications and coordinate with the design team to resolve site-related issues.
• Verify contractor measurements, RA bills, quantities and variations and assist in project cost control.
• Monitor manpower, materials and resources required for smooth project execution.
• Prepare DPRs, weekly progress reports, project trackers and management reports.
• Lead project review meetings and follow up on pending actions, delays and corrective measures.
• Identify project risks, execution bottlenecks and potential delays and take proactive corrective action.
• Monitor snagging, rectification, completion and handover activities.

Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Arch / B.Des (Interior Design) / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 8+ years of overall experience, with strong experience in interior fit-outs, turnkey execution, PMC, project management or site management.
• Candidates with a strong Interior Design / Interior Execution background will be preferred.
• Experience in residential interiors, commercial interiors, office interiors, renovations, fit-outs and turnkey projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, BOQs, measurements, billing, quantity verification, cost control and quality management.
• Good understanding of civil, carpentry, modular furniture, false ceiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other MEP works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
• Strong contractor, vendor, consultant and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP / Primavera / Construction Management / PMC certifications will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should be capable of independently monitoring multiple projects and coordinating site teams, contractors, vendors and consultants to ensure timely completion.
