Job summary

Invansys Technologies is seeking a Senior Platform Lead to architect, scale, and evolve our core platform infrastructure. You will drive backend architecture using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch while collaborating with full-stack teams (React/React Native) for API consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, schema design).
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch (cluster management, indexing strategies, search optimization).
• Working knowledge of React or React Native.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient and reusable Node.js modules and microservices.
• Working experience with Node.js, relational databases, NoSQL databases, SQL queries, and any major cloud service (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of other server-side languages and programming frameworks is a huge plus.
• Architect and optimize data models and complex queries in PostgreSQL.
• Design and manage advanced search architectures using Elasticsearch.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and DevOps alignment.
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React / React Native) to ensure API consistency and seamless integrations.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Design and implement data storage solutions.
• Build robust APIs to support a wide variety of applications.
