Weekday AI seeks an experienced Senior Platform Lead in Bengaluru, India, to architect and drive the evolution of scalable, robust platform solutions. You will guide engineering, product, security, and infra teams to deliver high-performance platforms and ensure reliability across services.

The role requires 5–12 years in software/platform engineering, distributed systems or infra, with hands-on expertise in platform engineering and cloud-native architectures.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Platform Lead to lead the design, development, and evolution of robust, scalable, and high-performing technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have 5–12 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, distributed systems, or infrastructure, with strong expertise in building and managing large-scale systems.

As a Senior Platform Lead, you will play a critical role in defining the technical direction and architecture of the platform. You will work closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and business teams to build reliable and scalable systems that enable development teams to deliver products efficiently. You will also provide technical leadership, establish engineering best practices, and help solve complex technical challenges across the organization.

Must-Have Skills

• Familiarity with security and compliance considerations in large‑scale platforms.
• Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.

Experience

• 5–12 years of relevant experience in software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or distributed systems.
