Job Title: Senior Piping Designer – Onshore Services

Role Overview:

The Senior Piping Designer will be responsible for developing and overseeing piping design deliverables for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes creating plot plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and support details, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently develop piping designs including plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping plans.
• Plan and schedule design activities in coordination with the job engineer.
• Supervise and check the work of a team of 4–5 piping designers.
• Review designs for completeness, safety, accessibility, and operability.
• Conduct interdisciplinary checks to ensure coordination across engineering disciplines.
• Prepare construction drawings and job packages including isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), and support details.
• Maintain and update comprehensive drawing lists.
• Review and comment on vendor drawings.
• Perform site surveys to support design accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) policies.
• Adhere to all applicable information security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in piping design for offshore, onshore, or drilling rig projects.
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as PDMS, AVEVA, SP3D, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of piping materials and dimensional standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across disciplines.
