Job summary

Faceecho.ai seeks a Senior Physician Adjudication for a part-time, remote consultancy to resolve disputed cases in a research validation study. The role involves reviewing cases, applying structured labels, and maintaining strict confidentiality within the adjudication workflow.

The successful candidate will hold MBBS with MD in General Medicine (or equivalent) and demonstrated independent clinical judgement and adjudication experience, reporting to the Principal Investigator.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep independence from system outputs and limit access to initial reviewers' labels as allowed.

Study: VI-SIGNAL-001 Research Validation of a Non-Diagnostic Facial Scan, Guided Video, and Questionnaire-Based Pattern Detection System

Engagement: Part-time, remote, consultancy basis (disputed cases only)

Honorarium: 2,0003,000 per hour

Role Summary

The Senior Physician Adjudication independently resolves disputed cases those where the two clinician reviewers assigned different labels for a given pattern category. For each disputed pattern category, the Tie-Breaker assigns a final research reference label using the same structured response options and approved definitions, in line with the study's adjudication workflow. The final label becomes the reference label for that pattern category.

Key Responsibilities

Review only the cases and pattern categories referred for adjudication because the two initial reviewers disagreed. Assign a final structured reference label (Present / Absent / Not assessable) for each disputed pattern category, using the same approved response options and definitions. Work independently and remain blinded to the system-generated outputs; access the initial reviewers' labels only where the approved adjudication workflow permits. Apply the adjudication criteria consistently, and document determinations as required. Maintain the confidentiality of all cases and adjudication decisions.

Role Boundaries

The final labels are research reference labels, not clinical diagnoses. The role involves no contact with participants and provides no clinical interpretation to participants. Participant data must not be copied, downloaded, screenshotted, exported, or shared; access is through the secure portal only.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered medical practitioner in good standing with the relevant medical council. MBBS. MD in General Medicine (or equivalent), and greater seniority/clinical experience preferred. Experience exercising independent clinical judgement and resolving assessment discrepancies (e.g. senior review, consensus or adjudication roles). Strong familiarity with how systemic conditions present externally, and ability to apply structured criteria consistently under the approved workflow.

Pre-Engagement Requirements

Signed confidentiality undertaking and conflict-of-interest declaration. Completion of reviewer and adjudication training and blinding orientation before accessing any cases. Role-based secure-portal access granted on a least-privilege basis.

Compensation and Terms

Honorarium of 2,0003,000 per hour, on a consultancy basis for the study period. Part-time, remote, and flexible; engaged for disputed cases as they arise. Subject to study monitoring and continuing oversight by the Principal Investigator. Compensation is not linked to how any case is adjudicated.
