Role Description

The Senior Physician will provide advanced Ayurvedic clinical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing therapies and medicines, and monitoring progress. Responsibilities include supervising junior physicians and Therapists, ensuring adherence to Ayurvedic protocols and regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role involves consulting with patients, educating them on preventive health practices, and participating in case discussions and continuous improvement of clinical processes. The Senior Physician may also contribute to community health initiatives, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Ayurvedic diagnosis, treatment modalities, and pharmacology.
• Experience in outpatient with Panchakarma treatments, including case management and follow-up.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior clinicians, therapists, and support staff in a structured clinical setting.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed medical documentation and using basic healthcare information systems.
• Excellent patient communication skills, with a focus on empathy, cultural sensitivity, and health education.
• Relevant medical qualification in Ayurveda BAMS or higher from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, evidence-informed decision-making, and continuous professional development.
• Prior experience in a senior or consultant physician role in Ayurvedic Treatment Center is highly beneficial.
