Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior Pega Developer / Senior System Architect to lead enterprise Pega projects with a focus on end-to-end architecture and framework development.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on Pega experience, PCSSA/PCSA certifications, and strong knowledge of payments operations and banking regulations. You will mentor engineers within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment and contribute to high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Pega development experience on the PRPC platform.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) and PCSA certifications mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Pega Case Management, ECS design, Data Pages, Declarative expressions, UI rules, and Report Definitions.
• Experience with SQL queries, data mapping and middleware connectivity is required.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools and modern Scrum frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and deploy end-to-end Pega solutions leveraging the Smart Investigate framework.
• Design and implement solutions for payments operations including SWIFT, ACH, wire transfers and cross-border investigations.
• Build and maintain scalable case management workflows and background processing components.
• Design secure integrations (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka) with banking ledgers and core systems.
• Enforce Pega guardrails, perform code reviews, and optimize performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Architect, configure, and deploy comprehensive end-to-end solutions leveraging the Pega Smart Investigate framework to streamline exceptions, disputes, and investigation workflows.
• Payment Operations Automation: Design and implement technical solutions tailored to core Payment Operations, managing SWIFT messages, ACH, wire transfers, and cross-border payment investigations.
• Core Application Engineering: Build and maintain scalable case management workflows, business process rules, data models, and complex background processing components (Queue Processors, Job Schedulers).
• System Integration: Design and configure secure enterprise-grade integrations (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka, and file listeners) to link Pega with external banking ledgers and core transaction systems.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce Pega guardrails, conduct detailed code reviews, and optimize application performance by troubleshooting code errors and processing bottlenecks.
• Technical Leadership: Provide subject matter expertise on architectural direction, and mentor junior engineers within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Pega Expertise: Minimum 7+ years of dedicated experience developing enterprise applications on the Pega PRPC platform (Pega 8.x experience preferred).
• Smart Investigate & Financial Domain: Proven, direct hands-on project experience working with the Pega Smart Investigate framework and a deep operational understanding of global Payment Systems and banking regulations.
• Mandatory Certification: Valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA / SSA) certifications.
• BPM Capabilities: Master-level knowledge of Pega Case Management, Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) design, Data Pages, Declarative expressions, UI rules, and Report Definitions.
• Database & Integrations: Strong experience handling SQL queries, database indexing, data mapping, and standard middleware connectivity protocols.
• Agile Delivery: Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and modern Scrum frameworks.
