Hyper Lychee Labs is seeking a Senior OutSystems Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on OutSystems 11. You will drive architectural decisions, coding standards, and reusable components while supporting release readiness and performance improvements.

Qualifications

The Senior OutSystems Developer (O11) is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications built on the OutSystems 11 platform. The role requires strong technical expertise in application development, system integration, database design, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and release support. The role also contributes to technical design, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring solutions meet business needs, quality standards, security expectations, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Design & Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the OutSystems 11 platform.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop reactive web applications, reusable components, and modules aligned with enterprise standards.
• Support enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature delivery across business applications.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reusability across delivered solutions.

Technical Analysis & Solution Delivery

• Understand business requirements, project scope, and delivery KPIs.
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide practical solution recommendations.
• Estimate development effort, identify dependencies, and highlight technical risks early.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, infrastructure, release teams, and other developers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and provide timely resolution.

Integration & Data Management

• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs and other supported mechanisms.
• Work with relational databases to design queries, entities, data models, and performance improvements.
• Support data mapping, validation, and synchronization requirements.
• Ensure integration design aligns with security, performance, and maintainability expectations.

Platform, Release & Operational Support

• Support deployment activities across environments and assist in release readiness.
• Monitor application behavior, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize performance where needed.
• Contribute to environment stability, deployment quality, and post-release validation.
• Maintain technical documentation for delivered solutions, changes, interfaces, and known issues.
• Follow defined development, testing, release, and support processes.
• Contribute to improving development standards, reusable assets, and technical practices.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and secure development principles.
• Support automation, optimization, and process improvement initiatives where possible.
• Guide junior developers through code reviews, technical support, and knowledge sharing.
• Promote best practices in design, coding, exception handling, and performance tuning.

Required Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in OutSystems development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade web applications and integrations.
• Experience working with agile development practices and release cycles.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving application issues.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems 11 (O11).
• Good understanding of application architecture, modular design, and reusable component development.
