Job summary

Chennai City Corporation in Chennai is seeking a Senior Oracle Integration (OIC) Consultant to lead design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud PaaS integrations across Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM) and external systems.

You will provide day-to-day support for a variety of customers and collaborate with technical leads, functional leads, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Oracle integration technologies (OIC).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SaaS APIs (ERP/HCM/SCM) including REST/SOAP.
• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, FBDI and HDL’s.
• Hands-on expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, and SQL.
• Experience with OIC connectivity to external platforms (Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday).
• Security: OAuth2, OCI Vault management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues in OIC.

As a Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud PaaS integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM) and external systems. You will provide day-to-day support for a variety of customers. You will work closely with Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and Client Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions leveraging OIC, Oracle SaaS APIs, and complementary OCI services.

This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder and various modes of integrations. You are expected to mentor junior developers, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes in OIC.
• Design, build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including Application Integration (Orchestration), Scheduled Integrations, and File-based Integrations
• Develop and support REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and other custom/on-premises/cloud-based applications
• Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and OIC monitoring/logging best practices
• Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases from Impact Assessment through testing and defect support on technical components
• Utilize Oracle Visual Builder for custom UIs and Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for workflow orchestration (where needed)
• Work with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, FBDI and HDL for integration scenarios

• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, FBDI and HDL’s
• Hands-on expertise in XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, and SQL
• Familiarity with Oracle SaaS data models and common business processes (e.g., AP/AR/PO/GL, HCM/Payroll)
• Experience with OIC connectivity to external platforms (e.g., Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Workday)
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, Basic, API Key) and OCI Vault management
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging OIC flows using diagnostic logs, audit trails, and activity streams
