Senior Node.js Developer – Job Description

Role Overview

• We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with strong experience in Node.js backend development and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications and microservices.
• The candidate will work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Develop cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
• Develop and manage applications on Azure App Service / Azure Web Apps.
• Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus.
• Work with Azure Storage including Blob, Queue, and Table Storage.
• Design database schemas and develop optimized SQL queries.
• Work with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL Database.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and solution development.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical resolutions.
• Follow SDLC, coding standards, Git-based source control, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Mandatory Technical Skills
