Job summary

Epsilon Bengaluru seeks a Senior Network Administrator to maintain and optimize our global production network across datacenters and cloud platforms. You’ll manage complex routing, switching, firewalling, and security, ensuring high availability and performance for enterprise services.

You’ll lead incident response, automate repeatable tasks, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with Security, Cloud, and Delivery teams to drive best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting large-scale production network environments.
• Deep expertise in WAN/Routing topologies, datacenter switching, firewall tech, and traffic management.
• Experience with secure hybrid multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong troubleshooting across network, OS, and application layers.
• Networking protocols: Ethernet (10/40/100/400Gbps), OSPF, BGP, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, IPv6, TCP, STP.
• Experience with enterprise networking platforms: Cisco, Nexus, Arista, F5 BIG-IP, Citrix NetScaler, Dell Force10.
• Experience with firewalls: Cisco and Palo Alto Networks.
• Proficiency with monitoring/management: SolarWinds NPM/NCM, ExtraHop, NetBrain, Panorama, AlgoSec.
• Cloud networking services: DNS, load balancers, CDNs, VPCs, subnets, security groups, cloud connectivity.
• IaC and automation: Terraform, Ansible, Python.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of ISO27001, NIST, PCI DSS.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead incidents.
• Experience leading incident response and RCA.
• Familiarity with observability, dashboards, capacity planning, alerting.
• Mentor junior team members; lead discussions.
• Cloud certifications preferred.
• On-call rotation and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced operational support for network services, tools, and infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for complex network issues across LAN, WAN, Cloud, Internet, and routing technologies.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for Network Operations and provide leadership during major incidents and service disruptions.
• Monitor and maintain network availability, performance, and capacity across production environments using enterprise monitoring platforms and dashboards.
• Perform configuration management, software upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational changes per change management processes.
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud networking technologies across Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and Delivery teams to transition new services into production support.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and SOPs to improve reliability and reduce risk.
• Use automation tools and scripting languages to improve operational efficiencies and reduce manual tasks.
• Support network monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms for proactive issue remediation.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and support security initiatives across network and cloud environments.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing, maintenance, and readiness exercises.
• Continuously assess processes and pursue automation and standardization improvements.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define operational requirements for strategic infra projects.
• Mentor junior administrators and engineers to promote excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a Senior Network Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and supporting Epsilon's global network infrastructure by ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of our production network environments across multiple datacenters and cloud platforms. You'll be part of a passionate team of network professionals responsible for the operational support of complex network technologies, using your expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, network security, and cloud networking to provide world-class 24x7x365 operational support.

Your work will directly influence the reliability and operational excellence of our internal and edge Internet/peering infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with Network Engineering, Network Delivery, Security, Cloud Engineering, vendors, and business partners to ensure services are delivered consistently while maintaining operational standards and protocols.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring with you:

• 6+ years of experience supporting large-scale, high-performance production network environments.
• Deep expertise supporting WAN and routing topologies, datacenter switching architectures, firewall technologies, and traffic management platforms.
• Demonstrable experience supporting secure hybrid multi-cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure networking services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, operating system, and application layers.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including Ethernet (10/40/100/400Gbps), OSPF, BGP, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, LACP, IPv6, TCP, and Spanning Tree technologies.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise networking platforms including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, Dell Force10, Arista, Citrix NetScaler, and F5 BIG-IP technologies.
• Expertise supporting traditional and next-generation firewall technologies using Cisco and Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management platforms including SolarWinds NPM/NCM, ExtraHop, NetBrain, Panorama, and AlgoSec.
• Experience supporting cloud networking services including DNS, load balancers, CDNs, VPCs, subnets, security groups, and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies including Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar automation frameworks.
• Good communication skills with the ability to document troubleshooting procedures, operational standards, and technical solutions effectively.
• Good understanding of security frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational issues through resolution with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrable experience leading incident response activities and conducting root cause analysis across complex distributed environments.
• Familiarity with observability platforms, dashboard creation, capacity planning, and actionable alerting strategies.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical discussions across multi-functional teams.
• Certifications from major cloud platforms, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, or other industry-recognized technologies are preferred.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and provide after-hours operational support as required.
