Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, CS or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of RAN and experience in RF optimization and delivery/tuning.
• Experience with customer interactions and end-user presentations with automation ideas (Python-based).
• Shift timing flexibility based on project needs; onsite presence in secure room setups.
• Academic credentials must be from recognized institutions and verifiable.

Responsibilities

• RF optimization and NPI conformance, including network audits and discrepancy clearance.
• Analyze KPI and provide improvement recommendations for RAN performance.
• Hands-on feature testing, trial execution, MOP prep, and rollout validation support.
• End-to-end data interpretation and digitization of NPI processes.
• Collaborate with cross-vendor tools and Ericsson RAN products to optimize performance.

About this opportunity:

Take this exciting opportunity to join our global professional team at Ericsson as a Senior Network Engineer. This dynamic role not only involves analysis, auditing, design, and optimization of telecom networks but also spans various domains such as RAN, Transport, Core, OM and Services Networks.

What you will do:

• Strong domain experience in RF optimization / NPI support
• LTE NR (SA/NSA) understanding; exposure to VoLTE/VoNR optimization contexts
• KPI analysis and improvement recommendations for RAN performance
• Hands‑on NPI conformance: network audits and discrepancy clearance vs customer baseline
• Feature testing / trial execution exposure: feature study, MOP preparation, field trial support, massification support and rollout validation support acceptance/validation reporting

The skills you bring:

• Optimization skill set
• Ericsson RAN 4G/5G optimization exposure; ability to fine‑tune parameters for performance
• Layer management, mobility management optimization, throughput improvement
• In‑depth OSS KPI tuning knowledge Ericsson product understanding
• Working understanding of Ericsson RAN products (e.g., Gen3/Gen4 basebands) and GA software context Tool proficiency CTRAnalyser, PowerBI
• Inter‑vendor tools as an advantage numeracy - Network planning optimization tools: ITK, ENIQ/BI, NETAN, Automation digitalization mindset
• E2E process flow digitization exposure; data interpretation
• Automation development/ideation (Python‑based) and data modelling/management exposure

Academics

• Bachelor or Master degree in:-Electrical Engineering-Telecommunication Engineering-Computer Science / Computer Engineering-or alternate relevant discipline

Other requirements

• Strong technical knowledge on RAN
• Experience in RAN delivery / tuning / optimization processes digitalization
• Customer handling and end‑customer presentations - Automation ideation/development (Python‑based) and E2E process digitization exposure
• Flexibility for shift timing based on project needs
• Onsite presence expectation in secure room setup (per project/location policy)
