About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Networking Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud networking technologies, architecture, and best practices. As a Senior Cloud Networking Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud networking infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network security measures in collaboration with our security team, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs (Virtual Private Network), and encryption techniques, to safeguard sensitive data and applications.
• Automate the network operations and build and deploy the infrastructure using IaC.
• Create, standardize, and maintain detailed documentation of the physical and logical network topology.
• Monitor, maintain and document trends related to the global cloud network for faults, performance, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot network/incidents problems. This includes on-call responsibilities.
• Participate in a formal incident rapid response process for priority incidents.
• Participate in capacity planning to accommodate current and future workload demands.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance, outage response, last minute urgent requests.
• Make proactive recommendations for changes to the global network environment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging cloud networking technologies and assess their potential impact on our environment.
• Follow and enforce Change Management guidelines and processes.
• Communicate with colleagues, management, customers, vendors, and others in a courteous, professional manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a focus on networking.
• Advanced level of expertise in Azure and AWS networks.
• Expertise in Terraform and Python.
• 8+ years of experience in developing, provisioning and architecting cloud network environments at an enterprise scale.
• Professional certification such as the CCDP, CCNP, CCNA, CCDE, Azure Certified Network Engineer or equivalent.

Required Skills

• Ability to take initiative, and exercise professional, independent judgment to plan work, formulate recommendations, and make sound decisions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex cloud networking architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Network monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
• Bonus: Experience in SDWAN and multicloud setup.
• Dynamic routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF.
• Understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Terraform.
• Understanding of Cloud Firewalls.
