Citi is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and optimize real-time risk and PnL systems used by equities traders. You will work on grid computing and messaging within a globally distributed team spanning Europe and India, embracing high-volume, low-latency financial data processing.

Responsibilities include building scalable .NET applications, unit testing, performance profiling, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical decisions in a hybrid work setup.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–9 years of developer experience delivering large and complex software projects.
• Strong C# skills across .NET Framework 4.5.2+ and .NET 5+.
• Write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Shouldly.
• Analyze and optimize .NET application performance to support high-volume, low-latency systems.
• Build and consume REST APIs using web technologies such as OpenAPI, Swagger, authentication protocols, and TLS.
• Use version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and GitLab or GitHub to manage code delivery.

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will build and maintain the real-time risk and PnL systems that equities traders rely on to manage risk every day. You will join the Equities Live Risk, PnL and TradeFeeds team, working with grid computing and messaging technologies to deliver business-critical data across a globally distributed organization spanning Europe and India. This role places you at the center of Citi's trading technology, solving complex problems in high-volume, low-latency financial systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bring 5 to 9 years of developer experience delivering large and complex software projects.

• Write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Shouldly.
• Analyze and optimize .NET application performance to support high-volume, low-latency systems.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with high-volume, low-latency, highly available financial systems, trading platforms, or financial data processing.
• Exposure to additional programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash, and operating systems such as Linux.
• Understanding of one or more messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Solace.
• Clear understanding of design patterns and how to apply them to solve complex technical problems.
