Geopits is seeking a skilled MySQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize production and non-production databases. You will handle backups, replication, high availability, and performance tuning while automating routine DBA tasks.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS RDS MySQL or Azure Database for MySQL, strong Linux scripting abilities, and effective collaboration with development teams to improve query performance and schema design.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of MySQL internals, tuning, and query optimization.
• Backup, recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS MySQL and Azure Database for MySQL.
• SQL scripting, Linux, and automation proficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
