Job summary

Cognizant in Pune is seeking a Senior Microservices Framework Engineer with 7–10 years of software development experience to design and develop scalable, enterprise-grade frameworks. You will build reusable libraries from scratch and work across Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js, with RDBMS and CI/CD expertise.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, patterns and standards, optimize performance, security, and reliability, and mentor colleagues while delivering

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Microservices Framework Engineer with 710 years of experience in designing and developing scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building microservices frameworks from scratch, hands-on experience with a programming language, RDBMS, and CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for creating reusable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices frameworks for enterprise applications.
• Build reusable frameworks and common libraries from scratch to support scalable and maintainable application development.
• Develop and optimize microservices using at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js).
• Design and implement database solutions using any RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the engineering ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and developing frameworks from scratch.
• Expertise in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go, C#, Node.js, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS and database design principles.

Good to Have

Preferred Qualifications
