Based in Bengaluru region, you will drive concept to production, ensure reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with design, electrical, embedded software, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Master's Degree is advantageous.
8–10 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design of gaming cabinets and integrated systems.
Convert concepts into manufacturable, production-ready solutions.
Develop detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical specs.
Apply GD&T and tolerance analysis to ensure fit and function.
Design durable products for 24/7 operation.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MechanicalEngineer with 8–10 years of experience in designing complexelectro-mechanical products. Experience in Gaming, Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM),Self-Service Kiosks, ATMs, Industrial Equipment, or Consumer Electronics ishighly preferred.

You will lead the complete mechanical product developmentlifecycle-from concept and design through validation and productionrelease-while ensuring product quality, reliability, manufacturability,regulatory compliance, and cost optimization. This role requires closecollaboration with Industrial Design, Electrical, Embedded, Manufacturing,Quality, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams.

Education

Bachelor'sDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Master'sDegree is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Development

Leadthe mechanical design and development ofgaming cabinets, gaming terminals, button decks, topper assemblies,and integrated electro-mechanical systems.
Convertindustrial design concepts into manufacturable, production-readysolutions.
Developdetailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, assembly documentation, andtechnical specifications.
PerformGD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack-up analysis, and dimensionalvalidation.
Designdurable products for continuous 24/7operations.

Electronics Integration & Compliance

Integratedisplays, touch panels, audio systems, lighting, power supplies, cableharnesses, printers, bill validators, card readers, and cooling systemsinto mechanical assemblies.
Supportcompliance with GLI-11, GLI-12, NGCB, UL, CE, FCC, RoHS, ESD, andanti-tamper requirements, including certification documentation.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

Leadmechanical engineering activities throughout the NPI lifecycle, includingConcept, EVT, DVT, PVT, Pilot Build, Production Ramp, and SustainingEngineering.
Participatein design reviews, engineering changes, and production readinessactivities.

Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering

Performbasic FEA to validate structural integrity and optimize materialselection, weight, and product performance.
ApplyDFM, DFA, and DFS principles to improve manufacturability, assemblyefficiency, serviceability, and product cost.
Supportmanufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, plasticinjection molding, die casting, CNC machining, and fabricated assemblies.
Collaboratewith suppliers to improve tooling, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

Validation & Reliability

Developand support Design Verification Testing (DVT), including thermal,vibration, fatigue, lifecycle, environmental, and structural testing.
Investigatefield failures using Root Cause Analysis and implement designimprovements.

Product Lifecycle & Collaboration

Manageengineering documentation, BOMs, ECOs, ECNs, and product configurationswithin PLM/PDM systems.
Collaboratewith cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Electrical,Embedded Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement,Compliance, and Program Management.
Mentorjunior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
