Job summary

OneTrust in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Engineering to drive strategic planning and lead a high‑performing engineering team. You will shape long‑term architecture, hire engineers, and prioritize initiatives while contributing technically to product development.

You will oversee end‑to‑end delivery, ensure reliability and security compliance, mentor engineers, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑class software that scales with OneTrust's growth.

The Challenge

These individuals set strategic goals for the team, hire engineers, and prioritize projects.You'llbe involved technically, too. Developing new products,identifyingrequirements, and executing with excellence.

Your Mission

Drive strategic planning and execution while developing key technologies that will enhanceOneTrust'slong‑term, proprietary strategic position. Create new concepts frominitialdesign all the way to market release.

You Are

Experienced overseeing end‑to‑end development activitieswhilemonitoringreliability and performance of all internal systems and suggestingimprovements whenrequired. You will ensurecompliance with security regulationswhile managing software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines.

• Designing strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overallobjectivesand resource availability

• Implementing innovative technologies

• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

• Providing technical oversight to your team

• Ensuring projects are delivered according to schedule

• Good at finding opportunities to improve development processes

• Experienced building out onboarding and mentoring programs to teach and train other engineersin order toincubate individual and team growth

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

• 12+ years of engineering experience with a strongtrack recordof successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class software that results in material market impact

• Recent experience in development, operations, troubleshooting, and managing teams

• Understanding of how tooperatein a DevOps model

• Proven critical thinking and advanced analytical skills and qualities

• Strong consulting skills and tactful conflict management skills

• Systematic problem‑solving approach coupled witha strong senseof ownership and drive

• System design and architecture experience

• Design and architecting large complex distributed systems

• Deep knowledge of data structures and programming

• Ability to think of various Algorithms, given a problem
• Solid understanding of agile software development lifecycle
