Job summary

Quarks Technosoft is seeking an experienced Security Engineering Leader to drive design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise security controls across cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, data protection, app security, and DevSecOps. The role demands strong leadership in complex enterprise environments with hybrid cloud and manufacturing exposure.

The ideal candidate will lead security platform engineering, embed security into CI/CD, and collaborate with IT, Cloud, and GRC teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Engineering function for design, build, integration, and improvement of security controls across domains.
• Own roadmap, delivery strategy, and execution aligned with architecture and risk.
• Lead Security Platform Engineering including tool deployment, integration, optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Drive App Security and DevSecOps integration into CI/CD pipelines and secure SDLC processes.
• Oversee Data Protection controls (encryption, DLP, access controls).
• Collaborate with IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Development teams on security requirements.
• Coordinate with Cyber Defense/SOC to ensure logging, telemetry, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with GRC to meet regulatory, audit, and enterprise security requirements.
• Establish and maintain standards, runbooks, baselines, and operational handoffs.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement for efficiency and scalability.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies based on risk and business value.
• Mentor and develop Security Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Analysts.
• Manage priorities, resources, workloads, delivery performance, and stakeholders.
• Define KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics for security engineering.

Job Title: Security Engineering Manager / Senior Security Engineering LeaderJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineering Leader to lead the design, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise security controls and platforms across Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Endpoint Security, Data Protection, Application Security, and DevSecOps.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cybersecurity engineering, security platform engineering, cloud/infrastructure security, security architecture, and engineering leadership within complex enterprise environments. Experience in hybrid cloud and manufacturing/industrial environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Engineering function responsible for designing, building, integrating, and improving security controls across cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, data protection, and application security domains.
• Own the Security Engineering roadmap, delivery strategy, and execution plan, aligned with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity risks, business priorities, and operational requirements.
• Lead Security Platform Engineering, including security tool deployment, configuration, integration, optimization, automation, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Drive Application Security and DevSecOps engineering, embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines, secure SDLC processes, application development, and engineering workflows.
• Lead implementation of Data Protection security controls, including encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, access controls, and protection patterns.
• Partner with IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application Development, and Digital Engineering teams to implement security requirements across transformation, modernization, cloud migration, and MA initiatives.
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense / Security Operations teams to ensure security platforms provide effective logging, telemetry, monitoring, detection, alerting, and incident response capabilities.
• Partner with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams to ensure security engineering controls meet regulatory, compliance, audit, and enterprise security requirements.
• Establish and maintain security engineering standards, configuration baselines, architecture patterns, runbooks, operating procedures, and operational handoffs.
• Drive security engineering automation and continuous improvement to increase operational efficiency, control effectiveness, and scalability.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend solutions based on enterprise security requirements, risk, scalability, and business value.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Security Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Analysts.
• Manage engineering priorities, resource allocation, workload planning, delivery performance, and stakeholder expectations.
• Define and track security engineering KPIs, SLAs, operational metrics, and control effectiveness measures.
• Ensure security platforms and controls are operationally sustainable, measurable, and aligned with enterprise security architecture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• Master s degree in Information Security, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 10-12+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, or related technical security roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading security engineering teams, engineering managers, or security engineering programs in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering security engineering capabilities across hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security Platforms.
• Experience with security architecture, security controls, security tooling, integrations, automation, and operationalization.
• Strong experience working with IT, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, Cyber Defense, GRC, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Experience supporting security requirements across enterprise transformation, modernization, cloud migration, and MA initiatives.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Manufacturing, industrial, OT/ICS, or other industrial enterprise experience strongly preferred.
