Job summary

Vialto Partners is seeking a Platform Product Manager to shape shared platform capabilities across Payroll, Tax and Immigration solutions. You will work with Engineering, Architecture and Product teams to define and deliver scalable, secure platform services and AI-enabled innovations.

You will translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories, manage the platform backlog, and champion adoption of platform standards across multiple product teams to drive delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.
• Five+ years in Product Management within software, platform or enterprise tech.
• Proven experience delivering technical products with engineering teams.
• Strong APIs, cloud tech, integrations and modern software practices.
• Experience managing roadmaps, backlogs and cross-functional priorities.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Job Description

Platform Strategy and Roadmap

• Define and own the platform product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform scalability, reliability, security and developer experience.
• Prioritize platform investments by balancing business value, engineering requirements and customer outcomes.
• Drive long-term platform vision while supporting near-term product delivery priorities.

Product Delivery

• Translate business and technical requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Manage and prioritize the platform backlog to support Agile delivery across engineering teams.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and proactively manage delivery risks and trade-offs.
• Monitor platform performance and continuously improve platform capabilities based on feedback and business needs.

Platform Capabilities

Lead the evolution of shared platform capabilities, including:

• APIs and integrations
• Identity and access management
• Workflow orchestration
• Data services and analytics
• Developer tooling and platform services
• AI-enabled capabilities and intelligent automation

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations and Product teams to deliver platform initiatives.
• Build alignment across technical and business stakeholders while driving platform adoption throughout the organisation.
• Communicate platform strategy, priorities and outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years' experience in Product Management within software, platform or enterprise technology environments.
• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver technical products and shared platform services.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud technologies, integrations and modern software development practices.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs and cross-functional priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Preferred

• Experience managing platform products, developer platforms or shared technology services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled products, automation or intelligent services.
• Experience working within enterprise software or regulated environments.
• MBA or master's degree.
