Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior PMIS and Project Controls leader in Mumbai to drive delivery, governance, and digital transformation across large infrastructure programs. You will configure PMIS platforms, build automated reporting, and lead multidisciplinary teams delivering analytics, automation, and project controls solutions for stakeholders.

Your experience should include 15+ years in project controls, PMIS, and reporting, with a track record of PMIS implementations and offshore delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification preferred (NICMAR / Project Management / MBA).
• PMI certifications (PMP/PMI-SP) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of PMIS, reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.
• Configure, deploy, and enhance enterprise PMIS platforms including Primavera P6, Unifier, Smartsheet, MS Project, and Power Platform.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and integrated data models for schedule, cost, risk, and portfolio performance.
• Standardise digital project information processes and ensure data governance across platforms.
• Manage offshore/remote delivery teams and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Overview

Lead the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of Project Information Management Systems (PIMS), Project Controls, Reporting, Analytics, and Automation solutions that enable effective project execution, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across major infrastructure and construction programmes.

The role will drive digital transformation initiatives, establish enterprise-wide reporting standards, manage PMIS platforms, and lead multidisciplinary teams delivering reporting, analytics, automation, and project controls solutions for business stakeholders and clients.

Your role

• PIMS, Platforms & Systems Delivery
• Configure, deploy, and enhance enterprise PMIS platforms including Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Power Platform solutions.
• Manage workflows, integrations, data structures, permissions, user access, and system administration across project environments.
• Standardise digital project information processes to improve consistency, usability, and adoption across projects.
• Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence
• Develop Power BI dashboards, automated reports, KPI scorecards, and performance monitoring solutions for schedule, cost, risk, commercial, resource, and portfolio performance.
• Create integrated data models and reporting frameworks that convert project data into actionable insights.
• Improve reporting reliability through standardised metrics, templates, data refresh routines, and information management protocols.
• Automation, AI & Digital Solutions
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using Power Automate, Power Platform, workflow tools, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
• Apply predictive analytics, advanced dashboards, and digital workflows to improve efficiency, data quality, and project outcomes.
• Support development of scalable digital solutions aligned with project controls, PMO, and Future of Construction objectives.
• Project Controls Technology Support
• Set up digital project controls environments for mobilisation, including PMIS structures, reporting templates, KPI frameworks, resource trackers, and governance workflows.
• Enable planning, cost, forecasting, and performance reporting through consistent use of project controls tools and data standards.
• Support integration of project controls data with dashboards, analytics platforms, and automated reporting solutions.
• Data Governance, Quality & Integration
• Define data standards, validation checks, access controls, and information management protocols across project systems.
• Improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and consistency across platforms and dashboards.
• Translate business and project requirements into practical digital, reporting, and data management solutions.

About you

• 15+ years of experience in Project Controls, PMIS, Reporting, Analytics, and Digital Delivery.
• Proven experience leading large-scale PMIS implementations and reporting transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure, transportation, buildings, energy, utilities, or data centre projects.
• Strong background in project mobilisation, governance, PMO, and performance reporting.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed and offshore delivery teams.
• Track record of driving automation and digital transformation initiatives.
