JPMorgan Chase in Hyderabad is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to guide multiple teams and align delivery with compliance and business goals.

You will mentor engineers, own backlogs with product owners, drive CI/CD on AWS, and deliver high-volume APIs and microservices across platforms.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading technology projects and coaching/mentoring.
• Ability to lead scrum teams and work with product owners & stakeholders to build an executable backlog.
• Experience in building applications with automation across SDLC (CI/CD, performance, resiliency & scalability) on AWS/hybrid/on-premise platforms.
• Ability to present and communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives.
• Experience with Big Data / Distributed / cloud technology (AWS) including Spark Architecture, Kafka, etc.
• Extensive experience in JAVA full stack development.
• Extensive experience building performant APIs for high-volume payloads.
• Experience in domain-driven design, data modeling, microservices, and event-driven streaming.
• Experience leading cross-functional technologists and data governance domains.

As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives.
• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Holds accountability decisions that influence teams' resources, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures.
• Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations.
• Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains; influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration; manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience. Experience leading technology projects
• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
• Ability to lead scrum team and work with product owners & stakeholders to build an executable backlog.
• Experience in building applications with high focus on automation across SDLC (CI/CD, AFTs, performance, resiliency & scalability) on AWS, hybrid and on premise platforms.
• Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and Executives
• Experience with Big Data / Distributed / cloud technology (AWS Big data services like lambda, glue, glue emr and Spark Architecture, Performance tuning ,Spark SQL, Streaming, KAFKA, Entitlements etc., )
• Experience in JAVA full stack
• Extensive experience in building performant APIs to process high volume payloads.
• Extensive experience in domain driven design, data modeling, micro services framework, event & streaming processes.
• Experience developing and leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience in Data Management, Data Catalog and Data Governance domains.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• AWS Certification preferred
• Experience with Flink preferred
• Experience working at code level
