The Senior Manager of Information Security at Solytics Partners will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s information security strategy to protect its data and technology assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Information security/cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance. The successful candidate will lead the InfoSec function, work closely with other departments, and ensure that security policies and practices are aligned with organizational goals and industry/regulatory standards. This role is crucial in protecting our organization from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a culture of security awareness across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the information security landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in implementing robust security frameworks.
Information Security Strategy
Design and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with Solytics Partners’ business goals.
Advise the executive team on cybersecurity risks, threats, and industry developments.
Define and enforce policies, standards, and procedures to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
Ensure security strategies are fully integrated into broader IT and business operations.
Risk Management and Compliance
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize organizational security risks; define and execute mitigation plans.
Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, and others.
Lead internal and external audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing efforts.
Security Operations
Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-malware tools, encryption, and endpoint protection.
Monitor for and respond to security incidents, coordinating swift resolution.
Maintain and test incident response protocols; lead the organizational response to security events or breaches.
Security Architecture and Engineering
Partner with technology teams to design secure infrastructure across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and solutions to enhance the security posture.
Oversee secure development practices, embedding security across the software development lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
Communicate risks, incidents, and strategy updates to the executive team, Board of Directors, and stakeholders.
Develop and present regular reports on the company’s security status and progress.
Collaborate with clients, partners, and regulatory agencies to address concerns and demonstrate data protection efforts.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and grow a high‑performing information security team through coaching, mentorship, and development.
Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness through company‑wide training and advocacy.
Work closely with IT, DevOps, and other departments to ensure security best practices are embedded throughout operations.
Proven experience in information security and cybersecurity leadership, with in-depth knowledge of security best practices.
Strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft security tools, including:
Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, Purview, Defender, Entra ID, and Exchange.
Deep knowledge and practical experience with ISO 27001, including leading ISO audits and maintaining compliance.
End‑to‑end experience with SOC 2 Type 2, covering scoping, control implementation, audit support, and continuous compliance.
Ability to define and implement security controls and policies aligned with business and regulatory needs.
Proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or QRadar.
Experience managing Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, incident handling, and threat detection.
Skilled in email security, anti‑phishing strategies, and securing communication channels.
Strong background in endpoint protection, especially with Microsoft Defender.
Competent in firewall configuration and network security protocols to maintain secure infrastructure.
Strategic mindset with a strong grasp of risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Proven leadership and communication abilities, with a track record of managing teams, building awareness, and aligning stakeholders around security initiatives.
