Purpose/Objective

The Sr. Manager - Civil will lead and oversee civil engineering projects and operations at Adani Power’s Raigarh facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the structural integrity, quality, and timely execution of civil works that support the operational efficiency of the power plant. The position aligns with Adani Power’s mission to harness technology and innovation for transforming India into a power‑surplus nation, ensuring the infrastructure meets the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil engineering projects, including construction, maintenance, and repair works, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of civil structures and facilities critical to the power plant’s operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate civil works with mechanical, electrical, and operational systems.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and engineering specifications.
• Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance benchmarks.
• Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to achieve cost-effective project execution.
• Implement innovative construction techniques and materials to enhance durability and sustainability.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Adani Power’s operational standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of civil engineering practices.
• Support the Civil Head in strategic planning and decision‑making for infrastructure development and upgrades.

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in General Civil Works, Project Management and Execution, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and other civil engineering design software.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
