Job summary

Talentbridge seeks a senior FP&A leader to drive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis in Bengaluru. You will influence strategic decisions by tracking financial performance against targets and building sophisticated models for new initiatives.

The role requires 12–15 years in corporate FP&A with P&L ownership, strong Excel/ERP and BI skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional leaders. MBA or CPA/CA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Own end-to-end P&L tracking, variance analysis, and monthly reviews.
  • Build advanced financial models to evaluate business cases and initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations to optimize ROI.
  • Deliver executive dashboards, variance commentary, and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop finance analysts and junior managers.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. This role guides business decisions by tracking financial performance against targets, managing profit and loss statements, and building strategic financial models , P&L Management: Own the end-to-end Profit & Loss statement tracking, variance analysis, and monthly performance reviews. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting cycles and rolling monthly or quarterly forecasts. Financial Modeling: Build advanced models to evaluate business cases, strategic initiatives, and new product profitability. Business Partnering: Work with cross-functional leaders (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to optimize costs and maximize ROI. Executive Reporting: Deliver clear financial dashboards, variance commentary, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board members. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing finance analysts and junior managers

Preferred candidate profile
  • Experience: 12 to 15 years of progressive corporate finance experience, with a heavy focus on FP&A and P&L ownership.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CA, CMA) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and executive presence to influence strategic choices.
