Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead an enterprise Data Governance and Data Quality program from Bengaluru. You will steer cross-functional teams, shape policies, and drive scalable data products aligned with business goals and regulatory needs.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, product ownership experience, and a track record of delivering complex governance transformations in a global financial data environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as listed.
  • Significant experience leading enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management and Data Transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience establishing and operating enterprise Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards and councils.
  • Strong experience implementing Data Quality frameworks, KPIs, and remediation processes.
  • Demonstrated Product Owner or Data Product Management experience with roadmaps and Agile delivery.

Job description

Manages the rollout of an enterprise-wide Data Governance and Data Quality framework, leading people, processes, and technology to ensure effective governance, quality, and management of critical data assets across the organization. Leads complex, cross-functional programs and strategic initiatives that enhance Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Products, while driving adoption of governance policies, standards, controls, and operating models. Acts as a strategic partner to business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, product-oriented data capabilities that support business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role would require an individual to create an entire Data Quality Governance program that would be scalable at Content Operations level catering to the needs of customer and operations

  • Leads and governs an enterprise-wide Data Governance implementation roadmap, including strategic priorities for developing data product and information management capabilities across the organization.
  • Manages the rollout and continuous improvement of the enterprise Data Governance Framework, including governance policies, standards, controls, stewardship models, operating procedures, and assessment frameworks.
  • Ensures compliance with data-related policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and governance controls across business and technology functions.
  • Champions industry best practices in Data Governance and Data Quality
  • Defines and implements enterprise Data Quality strategies, frameworks, operating models, and controls.
  • Establishes Data Quality metrics, KPIs, thresholds, monitoring processes, issue management practices, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Drives root-cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues through collaboration with business, operations, technology, and data teams.
  • Ensures critical data elements are identified, measured, monitored, and governed through consistent quality standards and controls.
  • Leads a portfolio of data governance, quality transformation programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and priorities.
  • Coordinates multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, issues, budgets, resources and timelines across programs
  • Develops and maintains program roadmaps, governance structures, status reporting and executive communications
  • Produces project and program artifacts, steering committee materials, business cases, presentations and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensures successful delivery of large-scale enterprise initiatives using structured project and program management methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field
  • Significant experience leading enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management and Data Transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience establishing and operating enterprise Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, stewardship models, and governance councils.
  • Strong experience implementing and operationalizing Data Quality frameworks, controls, KPIs, issue management, and remediation processes.
  • Demonstrated Product Owner or Data Product Management experience, including roadmap development, backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Extensive Program Management experience delivering complex, cross-functional enterprise initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Experience working with regulatory, risk, compliance, and control frameworks related to data governance and data management.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and manage stakeholders across multiple business and technology functions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
