Job summary

Vanguard India in Hyderabad, Telangana, is seeking a senior program leader to drive transformational change across complex initiatives. You will provide direction to managers and specialists, ensure timely delivery within budget and regulatory constraints, and align programs with business goals.

You will build multi-year strategies, manage risks, cultivate cross-site partnerships, and oversee change management as programs scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of related business experience.
• At least 5 years in program management for large digital transformation programs.
• UG or PG degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew; sets performance standards and compensation decisions.
• Manages cross-divisional programs and multiple workstreams within a larger program.
• Creates a multi-year program strategy and communicates status to Vanguard stakeholders.
• Builds strategic relationships across sites, departments, and partners.
• Mitigates risk, ensures compliance, and monitors costs and budgets.
• Participates in special projects and other duties.

Job Summary

Ensures that all programs meet expected delivery dates, budget allocations, and regulatory requirements. Leads and directs the activities of several managers and specialists.

Core Responsibilities

• Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Manages cross-divisional programs or multiple workstreams within a larger program. Drives all phases of the program lifecycle from inception through implementation while ensuring that business objectives are delivered with high quality and within targeted timeframes.
• Creates and maintains a multi-year program strategy that clearly identifies specific actions and tasks needed to achieve future state goals. Provides written and verbal communication to many different audiences within Vanguard on the status of the program.
• Builds and maintains strategic relationships across sites, departments, divisions, and internal and external partners to support their program initiatives. Develops strong relationships with program leadership, sponsors, and workstream leads.
• Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk, and maintains control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Integrates and oversees change management efforts across the overall program. Closely monitors program costs and budget and escalates cost variances appropriately and timely.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years related business experience, with at least 5 years of Program management in Large digital transformation Programs and people-leadership.
• UG or PG degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
