Job summary

Accenture India Private Limited seeks a Data Science Manager to drive development and deployment of AI-powered solutions focused on Generative AI and LLM for Software & Platforms clients. You will oversee end-to-end design, building, and deployment of AI systems delivering business value and efficiency.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts, and mentor staff while aligning initiatives with client goals and Accenture capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and identify AI opportunities. Develop AI strategies and roadmaps aligned with client goals and Accenture capabilities.
• Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams; define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources; ensure milestones meet budget and quality.
• AI Solution Design and Development: Design AI solutions with data scientists and engineers; select algorithms; oversee model development and testing; integrate AI into ecosystems; design GenAI and LLM architectures (RAG pipelines, prompting, agentic AI).
• Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Build strong client relationships; present AI concepts and updates; identify upsell opportunities.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor AI professionals; foster innovation and knowledge sharing across teams.

What you would do in this role

As a Data Science Manager at Accenture, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions focused on Generative AI and LLM for our Software & Platform clients. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing the end-to-end process of designing, building, and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver business value and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and identify AI opportunities. Develop AI strategies and roadmaps that align with client goals and Accenture's capabilities. Conduct market research and stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in AI technologies.


• Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional teams for multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle. Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure project milestones are achieved within budget and meet quality standards. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.


• AI Solution Design and Development: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to design AI solutions. Identify appropriate AI algorithms and techniques to solve specific business problems. Oversee the development and testing of AI models, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate AI solutions into existing technological ecosystems. Design and implement GenAI and LLM-driven architectures, including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies Build agentic AI solutions capable of multi-step reasoning, autonomous task execution, and tool orchestration to optimize business workflows. Leverage the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem to develop secure, scalable enterprise-grade AI solutions. Integrate AI capabilities with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and Azure data services to enhance end-to-end business processes.


• Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor. Present and communicate AI concepts, solutions, and project updates to client stakeholders. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand client engagements. Provide guidance and support to clients in leveraging AI capabilities for business growth.


• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Develop talent within the team, providing coaching and training as necessary. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams and the broader organization.
