The role emphasizes data reliability, governance and compliance with GLP and GMP, setting KRAs for subordinates, guiding training, budgeting for capital and operating expenses, and managing lab resources and instruments.

Qualifications

• 18–20 years of experience in QA/Quality Control leadership.
• Experience ensuring GLP and GMP in QC laboratories.
• Ability to set KRAs, monitor performance and guide staff.
• Budget planning for capital and operating expenses.
• Collaboration with QA, Regulatory, and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC functions and timely release or rejection of RM/PM.
• Ensure data reliability, governance, and compliance.

Job Description

Location: Jammu

• This position is responsible for overall Quality Control functions at the site. This position works closely with other organizational functions (like QA, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, RA, R & D, Corporate QA etc.) for ensuring timely release or rejection of Input Materials/Products (RM/PM/Consumables etc.) & Submission of Analytical data.
• Adherence to data reliability, accountability and consistency & data governance procedure and ensuring the compliance in the department through the established/written procedures/policies.
• Management and upkeep of resources/ equipment /assets / instrument in the department and ensuring the compliance level.
• Ensuring the compliance, GLP, GMP (Good documentation & chromatographic practices) requirements in functioning of quality control laboratory.
• Setting KRAs/goals for sub-ordinates, monitoring and guide them to complete the KRAs/goals. Performance review identifying the training and development needs of all staff and fulfill it.
• Budgeting for Capital expenses and Operating expenses. Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and time scale.
