Job summary

PARAS DAIRY is seeking a senior finance professional to lead the Ind AS transition and manage SAP FI/CO for dual reporting. You will drive end-to-end financial reporting, coordinate with auditors, and ensure accuracy in the general ledger and closing cycles.

The role requires CA with 5+ years in corporate accounting and hands-on Ind AS exposure, leveraging SAP to automate workflows and enforce internal controls.

Qualifications

• CA is mandatory and must be in good standing.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate accounting and financial systems.
• Hands-on Ind AS exposure through implementation or audit work.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of financial statements from I-GAAP to Ind AS with end-to-end roadmap.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements with complete disclosures.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors to finalize transition-date adjustments.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and closing cycles post-transition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ind AS Implementation & Financial Reporting

• Lead Transition: Drive the end-to-end roadmap for converting financial statements from I-GAAP to Ind AS.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements with complete disclosures.
• Audit Coordination: Work with statutory auditors to finalize transition-date balance sheet adjustments
• Books Ownership: Maintain absolute accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and closing cycles on an ongoing basis after transition

2. SAP Functional Ownership & ERP Management

• System Configuration: Partner with IT to configure SAP modules (FI/CO) for dual reporting and Ind AS compliance.
• Process Automation: Automate manual accounting schedules, reconciliation steps, and reporting layouts within SAP.
• System Super User: Act as the primary business owner for SAP Finance, troubleshooting ledger errors and system gaps.
• Controls & Access: Ensure proper segregation of duties (SoD) and robust internal controls within the ERP framework.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate accounting and financial systems.
• Ind AS Exposure: Hands-on experience in previous Ind AS implementations or auditing Ind AS-compliant entities.

Technical Skills

• SAP ERP Expertise: Advanced, hands-on functional experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred).
• Accounting Standards: Deep conceptual clarity on Ind AS frameworks and statutory compliance.
• Process Design: Strong ability to translate accounting policies into automated system workflows.
