Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior leader to drive PMIS delivery, governance, and analytics across major infrastructure and construction programmes. You will lead platforms such as Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Smartsheet, and Power Platform, while guiding automation, AI-enabled reporting, and enterprise data strategies.

Ideal candidates have 13+ years in project controls, proven PMIS implementations, and experience managing global teams.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in Project Controls, PMIS, Reporting, Analytics, and Digital Delivery.
• Experience leading large-scale PMIS implementations and reporting transformation programmes.
• Experience on infrastructure, transportation, buildings, energy, utilities, or data centre projects.
• Strong background in project mobilisation, governance, PMO, and performance reporting.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed and offshore delivery teams.
• Track record of automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Fabric reporting platforms and Fabric Apps, enterprise AI and agentic solutions, and integrated project/ construction management stacks; Octave experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution roadmaps, implementation plans, and adoption models across full project lifecycle.

• Standardise digital project information processes to improve consistency and adoption.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and automated reporting for schedule, cost, risk, and portfolio performance.
• Design Fabric-based reporting, data lakehouse/warehouse architecture, and semantic models for enterprise reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities using Power Automate, Power Platform, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
• Establish responsible-AI controls and secure tool/data access for production AI solutions.
• Lead geographically dispersed teams and client engagement in major infrastructure programmes.

Overview

Lead the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of Project Information Management Systems (PIMS), Project Controls, Reporting, Analytics, and Automation solutions that enable effective project execution, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across major infrastructure and construction programmes.

The role will drive digital transformation initiatives, establish enterprise-wide reporting standards, manage PMIS platforms, and lead multidisciplinary teams delivering reporting, analytics, automation, and project controls solutions for business stakeholders and clients.

Your role

PIMS, Platforms & Systems Delivery

• Configure, deploy, and enhance enterprise PMIS platforms including Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and Power Platform solutions.
• Manage workflows, integrations, data structures, permissions, user access, and system administration across project environments.
• Standardise digital project information processes to improve consistency, usability, and adoption across projects.
• Lead implementation and integration of the Octave project and construction management technology stack, aligning its tools with project delivery processes, controls, information management, field workflows, and reporting requirements.
• Develop solution roadmaps, implementation plans, integration architecture, adoption models, and support arrangements for connected project and construction management platforms across the full project lifecycle.

Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Develop Power BI dashboards, automated reports, KPI scorecards, and performance monitoring solutions for schedule, cost, risk, commercial, resource, and portfolio performance.
• Create integrated data models and reporting frameworks that convert project data into actionable insights.
• Improve reporting reliability through standardised metrics, templates, data refresh routines, and information management protocols.
• Lead Microsoft Fabric implementation for enterprise reporting, including data ingestion, lakehouse and warehouse architecture, semantic models, data pipelines, governance, security, and integration with Power BI.
• Design and implement Fabric Apps and role-based analytical experiences that bring together reports, insights, workflows, and operational actions for project and portfolio stakeholders.

Automation, AI & Digital Solutions

• Identify and implement automation opportunities using Power Automate, Power Platform, workflow tools, and AI-enabled reporting capabilities.
• Apply predictive analytics, advanced dashboards, and digital workflows to improve efficiency, data quality, and project outcomes.
• Support development of scalable digital solutions aligned with project controls, PMO, and Future of Construction objectives.
• Define and deliver enterprise AI solutions using Model Context Protocol (MCP), AI agents, and action agents to support project management use cases such as schedule and cost intelligence, risk monitoring, progress tracking, document workflows, decision support, and automated follow-up actions.
• Establish responsible-AI controls, human-in-the-loop approvals, secure tool and data access, agent monitoring, and scalable deployment patterns for production AI solutions.

Project Controls Technology Support

• Set up digital project controls environments for mobilisation, including PMIS structures, reporting templates, KPI frameworks, resource trackers, and governance workflows.
• Enable planning, cost, forecasting, and performance reporting through consistent use of project controls tools and data standards.
• Support integration of project controls data with dashboards, analytics platforms, and automated reporting solutions.

Data Governance, Quality & Integration

• Define data standards, validation checks, access controls, and information management protocols across project systems.
• Improve data integrity, reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and consistency across platforms and dashboards.
• Translate business and project requirements into practical digital, reporting, and data management solutions.

About you

• 13+ years of experience in Project Controls, PMIS, Reporting, Analytics, and Digital Delivery.
• Proven experience leading large-scale PMIS implementations and reporting transformation programmes.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure, transportation, buildings, energy, utilities, or data centre projects.
• Strong background in project mobilisation, governance, PMO, and performance reporting.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed and offshore delivery teams.
• Track record of driving automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Fabric reporting platforms and Fabric Apps, enterprise AI and agentic solutions, and integrated project or construction management technology stacks; experience with Octave tools is desirable.
