Reporting to: CEO
Hours: Mon to Friday 8 hours per day, hours may need to be flexible to support UK businesses
Location: Sector 2, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Channel Web Consulting (CWC) was formed by top UK consultants and top developers from around the world to support the growing demand for enterprise level offshore development. CWC is currently supporting one of the UK’s largest flash sales business, which recently received investment from the fourth largest e-commerce company in China.
CWC is looking for a full stack developer to join the team who has great knowledge of customizing Magento according to business requirements.

We’ve recently completed the following projects:

• Warehouse manager system (WMS) migration
• Heavily customize Magento to support business processes

A few projects planned for 2016 are:

• Migrating to HipHop Virtual Machine
• Change from Full Page Caching (FPC) to Varnish
• Moving to Amazon Aurora
• Migrating to an enterprise level email service provider which supports personalization
• Customizing Magento to support our clients' international expansion
• Complete website redesign across all platforms

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of business impact on a technical and non-technical level during all levels of development processes
• Magento development with multiple full project life cycle and API integration experience
• PHP
• HTML and CSS
• MySQL
• GIT
• Ability to produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards-compliant code
• At least 3 years Magento experience
• Minimum 4 years PHP experience
• Developed on websites which transact at least 500 orders per day but ideally 1500+
• Developed on websites which have a range of products, minimum 2,000 but ideally more
• Migration from other e-commerce platforms
• Custom product management modules to tackle growth in products
• Customize Magento for multi-language and multi-currency support
• WMS integration, drop-ship, multi-warehouse support
• Finance package integration using summarized data to tackle bottleneck of finance software
• Customization of refunds to allow automation of import
