This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior ML practitioners who want meaningful, intellectually stimulating work at the cutting edge of AI development.

What You'll Do

• Author complex, high-fidelity reasoning traces that capture how an LLM should plan, reason, and act across sophisticated technical tasks
• Design data strategies that enable LLMs to navigate intricate, multi-step real-world decision-making scenarios
• Review and mentor structured traces to ensure optimal documentation of planning, tool use, and logical progression
• Apply senior-level architectural insight to guarantee consistent, reliable model decision-making patterns
• Identify gaps and failure modes in AI reasoning and contribute structured solutions through annotated examples

Who You Are

• Seasoned ML practitioner with significant experience in machine learning, deep learning, or related technical fields
• Skilled at decomposing complex problems into clear, logical, well-documented steps
• Experienced with advanced LLM evaluation, training methodologies, or model reasoning workflows
• Detail-oriented thinker who communicates technical concepts with precision and clarity
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous remote environment

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or AI evaluation systems
• Top-tier Kaggle competition results (Grandmaster or Master level), demonstrating deep expertise in model performance and feature engineering
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, chain-of-thought methods, or reasoning trace construction
• Background in AI safety, alignment research, or RLHF workflows
