Responsibilities

• Own the architectural vision for Microsoft 365 services and define the roadmap.
• Define enterprise standards, governance controls, and guardrails.
• Lead architecture reviews and solution assurance for initiatives.
• Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities for applicability and risks.
• Establish architecture patterns for collaboration, content management, automation, AI, and integration workloads.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and productivity improvement.
• Tenant architecture and governance; Platform lifecycle management; Workload optimization; Service health oversight; Release governance; Platform modernization.
• Define environments strategy, solution lifecycle management, governance controls; DL policies and guardrails for Power Platform; ALM maturity and DevOps adoption.
• Lead architecture and governance for Copilot and Copilot Studio; AI adoption frameworks; Governance for licensing, agents, plugins, connectors, knowledge sources; Responsible AI controls.
• Own licensing architecture and optimization strategies; cost analysis; platform rationalization; budgeting and forecasting support.
• Drive major strategic initiatives like digital workplace transformation, platform modernization, AI enablement, and enterprise automation.
• Provide architectural leadership for M&A technology due diligence and tenant migrations.
• Define enterprise integration architectures using Graph, REST APIs, and Power Platform Connectors.
• Operate as escalation point and drive automation and cost-efficiency improvements.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365, Power Platform & Copilot Architect to serve as the enterprise technical authority for our digital workplace ecosystem. This role is responsible for defining and evolving the strategy, architecture, governance, operational model, and roadmap across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related services.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive platform modernisation, governance maturity, cost optimisation, AI adoption, operational excellence, mergers & acquisitions integration activities, and enterprise-wide productivity transformation.

This position requires a strong architect capable of partnering with executive stakeholders, business leaders, security teams, IT operations, and external vendors to ensure that Microsoft technologies are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives. The architect will serve as a trusted advisor, technical decision-maker, and escalation point for the organisation's Microsoft productivity and low-code platforms.
