As a Senior Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of sophisticated software systems across multiple areas. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, and ensure high quality and performance of the team's work through code reviews and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and provide technical leadership to highly skilled software engineers.
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean and efficient code.
- Set and maintain high standards of coding.
- Ensure the quality and performance of the team's work through code reviews and testing.
- Translate end‑user needs into requirements using a lightweight agile, design‑led methodology.
- Lead design work and planning for user stories.
- Set and complete delivery of given tasks, delegating to the team where applicable.
- Build trusting relationships with team members and collaborate closely within the team.
- Communicate with clarity and precision in concise formats.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within an agile environment.
- Analyze, design, and implement complex software solutions using customer‑focused design‑driven methodologies, delivered via public cloud.
- Lead the migration of assets from AWS to Azure.
Skills and Experience
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Validated experience in AWS Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Fargate, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Glue.
- Validated experience in Terraform, Datadog, GitLab, and DevOps.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of security standard methodologies in AWS (e.g., Secrets Manager, IAM, Security Groups).
- Proficient in integrating, redefining, and consolidating data from various structured and unstructured sources into a structure suitable for building analytics solutions.
- Strategic thinking and ability to operate in day‑to‑day delivery mode.
- Understanding of business requirements and their implications on current and future roadmaps.
- Experience with Agile development processes (SCRUM and Kanban).
- Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self‑manage and work independently in a fast‑paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities.
