Job summary

EPAM Systems in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to design and manage enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Azure. You will lead automation, IaC, and Kubernetes-based deployments, while aligning with Agile/Scrum processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of DevOps experience, strong scripting skills, and a track record of driving DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure DevOps Services and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Expertise in CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps and source control with Git/GitHub.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Understanding of Azure networking and cloud security.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Prometheus.
